Goals and Objectives

Goal 1: Stewardship - To be recognized as the stewards of the University facilities.

Objectives:


1.1 - To provide and maintain an inviting environment
1.2 - To develop a FM Business Plan
1.3 - To develop and maintain a University Master Plan
1.4 - To manage accurate and useful facilities information
1.5 - To be accountable for stewardship functions
1.6 - To define an acceptable FCI rating per building
1.7 - To achieve the FCI rating
1.8 - To establish a Facility Needs index
1.9 - To provide a comprehensive Maintenance Management program

Goal 2: Clients - To understand, anticipate and respond effectively to our client needs.

Objectives:


2.1 - To identify and understand client requirements
        eg. -   Department plans and programs
                   Space and functional needs
2.2 - To foster trust
2.3 - To define Service Levels - standards and expectations
2.4 - To educate our clients
2.5 - To achieve and maintain 100% client satisfaction

 

Goal 3: Process Improvement - To achieve efficient and effective results, through optimal and standardized processes.

Objectives:


3.1 - To identify and justify processes required
3.2 - To have standardized processes
3.3 - To have documented processes
3.4 - To verify our organizational structure
3.5 - To establish Benchmarks and Benchmark research
3.6 - To develop an improvement process
