Security Services is located on the Parkade Level of the Marion McCain Arts & Social Sciences Building. This division of Facilities Management, is responsible for the safety and security of life and property at Dalhousie University.

Service is provided 365 days per year, with 24 hour coverage by vehicle, bicycle and foot patrols. All officers have received training in first aid, CPR, Automatic External Defibrillators, and emergency response procedures (i.e., fire, bomb threats, sexual assault, medical emergencies, etc.). All incidents on or adjacent to University property involving actual or potential danger to life, limb or property should be communicated IMMEDIATELY to Security Services.

In an EMERGENCY, call 4109. This number is accessible, coin-free, from any pay-phone on University property, as well as all other University telephones. Off campus and cellular telephones must dial 494-4109.
